A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a November revelation of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was shared in a social media post from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”

Within a personal essay in November, Schlossberg revealed that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia with a specific genetic mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that originates in the bone marrow and blood cells.
